IPL (intense Pulse Light) therapy uses a device to apply gentle focused pulses of light to the hair root under the skin. This makes the hair go into it's resting phase: the hair you have killed falls out, and gradually your body grows back less and less hair over time. Note: No tanning, tattoos, or saunas during your treatments. IPL is best done in the colder months of the year so you aren't tempted to be in the sunshine. Also the IPL device cis not suitable for tattooed areas of skin. Your first appointment will include a consultation as well as a safety check to ensure IPL is the best option for your skin. Hair must be darker than your skin tone to be recognized by the IPL device. The IPL device is not as efficient with white and blonde hair. Higher pigmented skin tones may be more sensitive to IPL treatments and may not be suitable for IPL therapy.
